Cruise to the Woods October 1, 2006
This was quite the experience. Departing at 3 AM getting to Albert Lea at 6 AM and leaving on the 128 mile cruise at 6:15.
On the way we did have to stop and put on some gloves. Then in-between 6:00 AM and 6:15 AM we needed
to get a fuel pump running and then get across town to the start of the cruise. When we arrived, several onlookers had
their jaws hanging on the ground after they found out none of us had heat in our Tz..

This sunrise alone was enough to make the trip worthwhile.
On the way to Ft Dodge we met up with hundreds of other cars. People along the streets in small towns waving and cheering
made for a great drive. Then down some nice winding roads to a river park with tons more spectators waving and cheering.
Then the car show at the fairgrounds to top it all off. Back home by around 7 PM with over 550 miles in all.
This is one great cruise, although next year we may stay overnight in Albert Lea.
