Red Wing River Cruise & Club Meeting
August 27th 2006 Hosted by Ray & Pat Liffrig

We met at the Red Wing Plaza just out side of downtown around 11:00AM with some outstanding weather in store for the day.

No shortage of shop talk taking place at all. Then our host fired up his T Bucket just to remind us we needed to get on the road.

Made it through town and headed for the river across to the Wisconsin side.
We made a few stops along the way and talked with some bikers.

Waves, smiles and thumbs up made the cruise go by pretty fast and before we knew it
we were on our way over the river bridge back to Minnesota. From the lack of photos showing the river,
I guess we were having to much fun driving to shoot the scenery going by as well as a few boaters waving at us.

We would like to thank Ray & Pat Liffrig for hosting our August club meeting and cruise. The variety of food they prepared was beyond our expectations. Pat was scolded for going through so much preparation. They even served a desert that I am not allowed to say the name of here. Although I will say that it is in the same category as French Silk Pie. After the cruise and dinner our club meeting was short and sweet. Just covered a few subjects and gave away some prizes. We didn’t want to fog the memories of the day with to much business. We also had a few members that needed to get back to the cities. We would also like to thank Dennis Hatleli from Hatleti Upholstery for joining us. He was going to give us a tech talk on upholstery, although due to the cruise running long we ran out of time.

More shop talk going on, so it almost took and act of congress to get them all to glance over at the camera at the same time.

Turned out to be a great day all around. Now all we need is for me to take more photos with better quality.
We would like to thank everyone for joining us and we hope to do it again next year.
